What is Grief?
Grief is the normal and natural emotional reaction to any change that has impacted our life.
Grief is the conflicting feelings caused by the end of or change in a familiar pattern of behavior.
Grief is both a universal and a personal experience. Individual experiences of grief vary and are influenced by the nature of the loss. Some examples of loss include the death of a loved one, the ending of an important relationship, job loss, loss through theft or the loss of independence through disability.
Your feelings are normal and natural. Grieving people are not broken and do not need to be fixed.
Our Grief Recovery Classes include working with a Specialist to guide you through the process, whether one-on-one or in a group to provide a safe environment for you to understand the cause of your conflicted feelings and to help you take specific actions to complete any unresolved emotions that are causing you pain & sorrow.
